I felt the best i've felt for a long time. The coaches tips about making small goals for myself really helped me a bunch. I'd focus on a guy that was quite a ways in front of him and just wouldn't let them go. After i would catch them i'd pick someone knew to go after and that was what fueled my race. Also i did the little things the race. Accelarating out of corners really helped me put a move on people so that it was harder for them to stay with me. Also, i accelarated near the top of the downhill by the playground and by the time I was at the end of the hill, i don't even know if I can call it that, i had passed like 4 people and they didn't catch up to me after that. I thought that i could have started my kick earlier, i think it would have helped me get more guys and the end and ru in the low 18:50's. I really enjoyed this raced and now i'm stoked to see what i can do at districks.
