Going into the race I didn't really know what to expect, I hadn't raced a course like this before. Mentally I raced all right but not great. I could of faded on the third, fourth, and part of the last mile. It was incredibly crowded, I feel like I had to expend a lot of useless energy the first 800 meters. This was a fast course. Two weeks from now I need to work on relaxing, focusing, and running a fast pace. It is the kind of course where I am not going to die or accumulate a ton of lactic acid. I just can't zone out for 2.5 miles like I did today.
