2+ warm up.

8k in 27:04 with splits of 5:07 - 5:33 - 5:28 and that's all I had. The race got out pretty quick and I didn't realize I was running that fast for the first mile or that slow for the second mile until I heard the split. It was good that I was able to recompose myself after those first two erratic miles and close the last couple miles pretty strong. I'd like to try and run about 26:3x at conference. That would put me around 2 minutes faster than last year.
