Had hurt Calf 2 days prior and still had some effects from Plantar Faciitis. Thought shoes had hurt calf so bought new demos at fair - bad mistake.Calf pain came back after 1/2 mile and was semi sharp and stayed with me until mile 9. God blisters and stopped at mile 6 for coverage that didn't help. Ran rest of race with two large painful ones. Hurt but didn't slow me down. The calf muscle did keep my pace slow as I didn't want it to blow up. Plantar didn't hurt at all. Ran 1:03 for first half including blister stop. Ran 56:00 for hilly second half which was good considering everything going on. Passed over 700 runners in second half and got passed by 21.
