Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
wanted to get this workout in before work, but took the route most traveled instead and just kept sleeping. not being able to wake up probably had something to do with my subconscious being well aware of the complete lack of afternoon work or social obligations.
well, started out too fast, turned around, and was greeted by the same three hilly miles of road i had just covered with ease, only now they were mostly uphill. felt super strong until i was a quarter mile into tempo mile 5. at that point i had been running uphill at tempo pace for well over a mile, and had to slow for 15 seconds or so to catch my breath. overall, not a bad effort:
6:09, 6:02, 5:58, 6:09, 6:36, 6:29
note to self: tempo runs should be run on a relatively flat course.
