so right after i finished my run i went to the gym, already warmed up from running. we started off with some stretching, which was good because i didn't have time to stretch after my run. then we did some drills. my hip/hip flexor was hurting during the high knees--i'm not sure why, but it went away after a while.
it wasn't too hard of a workout. there were parts that i was really tired, but it didn't last for long. it was mostly the explosion type of drills we usually do, along with some pushups and core work. finished with inclined treadmill sprints for maybe 10-15 sec at the top speed. at 12,13,14 mph. the last one was really tough, but 12 and 13 felt good.
finished with some good stretching. looking forward to a solid long run tomorrow.
