out william cannon and back again. nice to break the monotony of manchaca and south first runs.

resting yesterday was not an option. after three consecutive weeks of increasingly stout mileage that culminated in a 7 run, 53 mile week, i made the brash decision to jump right into this week without a rest day or recovery run. given the previous three weeks and my nifty new compression socks, it sounded like a good idea at the time. but by the end of tuesday's run it was obvious i was being a huge dumbass. solution: rest day. legs are back to being plain old tired. disaster averted.
