I originally planned on running 10 but my knee was still hurting do I decided to cut it short. I am worried because it doesn't seem to have gotten any better than yesterday and I occasionally felt a sharp, stabbing pain. But, it sort of came and went and it did not seem like the impact made any difference.
I have found the location of origin of my inflammation and I think I have patellar tendonitis (the spot that hurts the most is on the patellar tendon). There is some infammation in other places around the knee cap, but very minor compared to that spot. While it doesn't seem like I can't handle running any reasonable length on it, I think it's probably best if I make this an unplanned down week and shoot for 60-70. I'll ice a lot and see what happens.
