Comments:
This was my first track workout in months. the goal was to maintain 3k race pace over five 2 minute intervals. Since my goal for this weekend is 8:45, I wanted to do these at 4:40 pace. This proved almost impossible with the strong wind on the backstretch and the ice and snow covering the track. I managed it for the first interval and almost did for the second, but fell off of the pace on the last ones. The speed was definately a shock to my system. Total running distance equalled 7 miles.
