Comments:
first day back on the roads, ran with the birthday boy up north park to n woodland, then turned around. 5x 100 striders after, with 100 jog in btwn. my foot was feeling a little tight on the striders, especially around the turns, and while going down the cedar hill, which was really icy.
hurdle walkover drills, static 3, bear.
i tried incorporating reverse hurdle walkovers today-- as it turned out, i'm really bad at them, and it takes a lot of balance. i'll work on that.
my foot was feeling sore after running. not the acute pain i was feeling last week, but more of a generalized pain. i attribute it to being back on the roads. so i iced my foot for 10-15min.
