Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
The plan was to do 5 x mile at goal 8k pace (5:35) w/ 3 minutes rest. I decided half way through that I would go for 6 x mile because I we feeling so good. The first repeat was on the indoor track and and the last 5 were on the treadmill. I kept increasing the pace on the treadmill for each interval b/c I was feeling effortless. I didn't start feeling tired until repeat 5 or 6.
I realize this was with no hills and no turns (except the 1st repeat), but I have never done a mile repeat workout this fast or this easily. I felt fully recovered after 3 minutes, and I tried to make it somewhat active by walking on the treadmill in between miles. I feel like I am in great shape and a really curious about how I would do in a race right now. I really feel like I would PR in the 5k pretty easily. Maybe I'll find a race I can jump into around here.
I just need to keep training smart so I don't ruin this w/ an injury.
