so... i found out i've got a stress fracture today. in three different bones: the second metatarsal, the cuboid, and the cuniform. yeah. i expected the first one, but not so much the other two. and i'm in a boot for 3-5 wks. i guess i'm just going to take it one day at a time-- most of my running-log titles will be the day count. i'm gonna do my best to cross train like hell so i can still run outdoor.
today i biked for 40min before the meeting. it was at level 7, which is less than what i've done lately (10) but for twice the time. so it felt like a good compromise. i managed to get the rpm btwn 130 and 140 most of the time, and my heart rate was up to 170 by the end. so it was no joke.
i stretched a bit after, then went to the meeting about meets i'm not competing in.
