so yeah... i figured since i can't run, it'd be fun to do the IM swim meet. i was competing for the sigep team along with my roommate and a couple other guys. i was signed up for the inner tube relay, sweatshirt relay, and the 200 free. i was a little worried about the 200 free because i had just eaten a big bowl of ice cream at dinner (i couldn't resist, they had moose tracks). the inner tube relay was easy, we actually won! the other guys on my team were good swimmers, i guess, but had absolutely no endurance. they signed up for almost all the events without realizing that there'd be almost no break in between. so when they were all too tired or "sick" to swim the 50 fly and 100 IM, i gladly filled in. it wasn't nearly as tiring as i remember it being. the 200 free felt pretty easy; i wasn't tired after, but i don't think i could've gone much faster. i swam a 2:40 i think.
