so, after getting the boot off yesterday, i was instructed to "take it easy." which i did. everyone else was going to the outdoor track for the workout, which was perfect, because all i needed was a two-miler--to the track and back. i ran with chris and corey, who weren't doing the workout, chris because he's racing saturday, and corey, because he's preparing to beast the 10k outdoor. those working out were doing 2400s, so the simulation involved
4x 5min hard 2min eazy
4x 1:00 hard 1min easy
it was kinda hard to focus during the 5min sections, just because it's a long time to be biking hard. i was there with nick hewitt and drew, so i was able to talk a bit and just kinda go hard while talking, if that's possible? seemed like a pretty solid workout. cooled down half a mile with ckells.
