first workout in a while, felt good to go a little faster, while going longer too, which might be good for my sense of a 10k. but looking at the workout sheet it said, easy pace, then normal training pace, then tempo. i went with a 7:30 for the easy pace, and then i dont know what "normal training" means, so i just went 6:45, then i bumped it down to 5:50ish for the finish up. mapped out a two mile loop beforehand and ran it 4 times, with the first and last two miles being, get to the loop. i like to know what pace i was going but didnt want to do my mile loop, too short. last 4 miles of tempo were 5:58, 5:52, 5:56, 5:52. it was good.
