put a slight damper on my day

first - workout wasn't that great, left with a similar feeling as monday, only it wasnt as bad i think. 800 tempos before, went like 2:36 then 2:38. those felt pretty easy, then went 3:13, 3:16, and 3:20 for the 1000's, then easily hit 38's for the 200's after. have to at least do well friday, i need a good day this week during workouts.

second - rubin sent out the vmi list, and even though i knew there was a good chance i wouldn't be on it, because coach and i talked about how no meet was guaranteed, but it still kind of hurts to not see my name on that list. i should have been preparing myself more to not be going to this meet. and even though chris kelly didnt know i wasnt going, the list said williams, so he thought it was me, but its erik williams (i'm assuming), and he asked if i wanted to room with him, and this kind of made me feel worse, but its not his fault, just my common name. and it just kind of sucks not running, i really wanted to go. either way, it only means i have to work harder, and workouts like today won't cut it.
kind of guessed on mileage, might be less.
