actually felt decent! albeit very out of shape and weak feeling. couldn't avoid doing a lot of hills either, feel like it wouldve been better without them.
about the diagnosis, adam's guy suspects sciatica. he suggested heating it / keeping it as loose as possible, thorough dynamic warmups, and continuing to foam roll, but also using a golfball on the feet and including the lower back. he also suggested intensive, full body stretching and strength work for the hips. i need to email back to figure out whether that means i should continue to run consistently (he didn't say not to run).
i think this has a good chance of being correct, especially with how sitting for long periods and not keeping loose makes it worse. also it seems like it may be on the upswing anyway. fingers crossed...
