hills

i know that i will be in flat places for the next couple of days, so i decided to take advantage of hills while i have them. I ran down from our condo like most of the way to the beach (12 minute warmup or so), then turned around and on my way back up, i veered down each little sidestreet, running each hill hard on the way up. It ended up being a pretty serious workout because not only the hills themselves but also the jog in between hills and the 50m sprint at the "crest" were ALL uphill to varying degrees. I had intended to go a little longer today but I was tired by the end of my 5 hills so I called it a day and jogged the rest of the (uphill) road back to the condo.
