woo, another long day. feeling it in my legs to be honest. almost half my mileage in two days... either way. we had a "medium" workout today. supposed to be like steady paced, but it was kind of closer to tempo. i felt real good until the 400's we had after though, just sore in the calf area, and i figured let it be with another possible chance to run this week.
anyway, was supposed to be 10 miles at 6:25ish pace. we did a slight warm-up/easier pace for a good mile and a half, then we cranked it up. it was me chris kelly, c-wade and e-town. we kind of subconsciously switched up who was controlling the pace, and it was a very good group effort. kind of how things should go during cross upcoming season i felt. then we jogged to the track for the 400's which were supposed to be race pace-ish. c-wade wasnt feeling it and sat them out, me and e-town only did two because the second one was harder than it should have been, and we really felt the wind at the track. then cooled down back to veale. good day, a little longer than i probably wanted to do, but this gives me options to finish out the week with the two long days to start it. if i race this weekend this could really benefit it, going easy on the mileage in the days leading up to it.
