Comments:
ran my first full workout with the team today. it was me, grogan and the 800 guys running 1000s on mlk. i wasn't sure what to expect, but this was definitely a good result. i'm not in as good shape as i was before injury, but that's to be expected. the first 1000 felt great- i stayed on grogan, felt relaxed, but fast and we ran a 3:07. the next 3 slowed down from there. here's how it went:
4x 1000 (3:07, 3:14, 3:17, 3:17)
mercer and i cooled down to meet grogan and added a mile to the cooldown. when we got back to veale, we did 6x 150ish striders, or half of van horn.
my foot felt great today. i ran on the pavement when there was no grass, and still felt good. things are looking up.
day 1 lift w/ ben. static 1, L7ed for 10, ibis x40, hips x15. iced my foot for a bit.
