This meet kinda sucked. I was really disappointed, and also really not, that I didn't run the 5k. My legs wouldn't have been able to handle three good 5k's in a row, so I did mid-distance stuff instead. I really just am no good at all at mid-distance, so coach kept telling me that I was doing fine, that it was just a speed workout. I feel like it's a pretty bad speed workout, though, if you completely die halfway through the workout, like I did in every single event. oh well, though, because I had a super rough week and this really wasn't something I was going to be successful at anyway. My focus is on next week. Also, got thrown into the 4 by 400 relay, which was crazy. high 71 is totally my PR in the 400 though, AND I DIDN'T DROP OR THROW THE BATON!! :D I feel bad about it though, because Kaitlin, Brooke, and Alyssa ran really, really, well and I completely ruined it on the anchor. Even though there wasn't any chance of me NOT ruining it, I still feel bad about it.
