Weather: Pouring for most of this but warm

Comments:
Kinda short tempo workout toady. It was pouring but awesome. I haven't run in the really pouring rain in awhile and I had forgotten how much I love rain runs. Its uncomfortable to start but once you get soaked you're soaked and can just enjoy it. It didn't hurt that todays workout went swimminglly (see what I did there!)
3xmile tempo on the michigan loop. Our goal pace was 5:15's. 1 min rest. Ran with Carter and Grogan for this one. FElt pretty good. Just chilling at tempo effort. Since it was pouring I was just expecting to tempo effort it and see where the time was the first one. I was really suprised how close we came to hitting the time spot on.
The last one we took off our shirts. I'm pretty sure this was what casued us to run faster becasue I'm pretty sure the two shirts I wore at that point weighed like 10lbs.
After the tempo miles we did 4x400 on the track with a 200 jog between. Tried to hit around 70-71 and lock in at that pace. Sorry I felt like the last one was fast carter/grogan we were spot on.
