tempo miles and 400s over hurdles

i wrote rain four times because it rained four times worth. it wasn't too bad while we were doing the workout, or maybe i just didn't notice.
warmed up through little italy to nrv, then stretched a bit and did drills on the track. 2x tempo mile on the michigan loop. i felt really comfortable on these. coach told me to shoot for 5:35-5:40, but i settled into a comfortable pace that was 5:25 for the first, and 5:30 for the second. i headed to the track to do the 4x 400 with ben. it was wet and slippery, so these were kinda hard. also, i haven't done anything fast over hurdles. it was definitely a confidence boost to get over them. while i only hurdled about half of them, getting the motion down and getting over fear of falling helps. i'm feeling more and more confident about this race saturday-- but i'd like to get over more hurdles still, hopefully when it's dry. cooled down 1mi back to veale. stretched a bit, changed clothes. last week's lift day1, static 1, reverse ibis x40, hips x15. L7, ice
