wasnt feeling long today, and i'm not sure what things are going to be like the rest of the week, with people tapering for UAA's  and such, and what lies beyond that. figured i'd relax, run shorter and get some work done today instead. i'm definitely feeling good after 2 weeks at 50. my thoughts today were, 50 is low for me now, in track?! put a smile on my face. ended a great weekend, and began the large amount of homework.
i have to put my thoughts of this run down "on paper" though too.
i feel so much stronger, and so much more like a real runner than i ever have before, and i dont need some race to prove it. so what if i raced once outdoor? only more of a surprise for the UAA when i come in and kick some ass during cross country. the summer here in cleveland may be different, and i'll miss the home running crew, but it will be nothing but good for me here, focused on the task at hand. as this season of track comes to a close, i am sitting with my eyes on being top five during cross on a consistent basis, the only person who i shouldn't be able to run with on this team is chris kelly. my workouts have proven the only one standing in my way is myself. i can fix that, and when i do, things are going to roll. i tossed out my track plans today, and will let things fall into place until i know for sure what i'm doing for cross. no more set mileage, just rolling along until time off. i'm ready for cross training to start.
