My goal was to do a 90 minute run. I wasn't concerned about my pace at all I just wanted to do 90 minutes in preparation for the 25k. I felt very good the entire time. My first hour was 7.93 miles which is a 7:38 pace. The first segment of the run was full of hills on Obrien, Maynard, and Butterworth. Then I drank some water, some clear boost, and had a powerbar gel packet. I did the last 3.82 in 30:32 which is an 8:00 pace. I think i could have ran fast i was just taking it easy. Gay but it was still a really good run. The next long run I do I hope to do about 100 minutes at a 7:40 pace total without slowing so much at the end.
