East 93rd Run

April 27, 2011 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 82 Cloudy/Windy

Comments:
Veale to Euclid to E105th to Quincy to Woodhill to E93rd to train tracks near Richmond and back (with Ethan Teare), Little Italy Loop (alone)-

We spent about ten minutes standing in Veale trying to figure out where to run and decided to do a ghetto run up E105th. My stomach was bothering me some but not terribly. We had the wind in our faces uphill on the way out so that was hard, but felt very hot coming back. We ran past a lot of chruches, dilapidated houses, and car dealerships all of which had dogs in their lots. I actually felt safe for most of this run although there were a few people who made me nervous. I think we were in a marginal ghetto area surrounded by much worse areas for most of this. When we were running I thought I just felt a little 'off' because it was hot, but after mapping I can see it was because we were moving.

Mapped:
E93rd: 9.00 (wow!) miles 58:38 6:30 pace
Little Italy: 2mi 14:09 7:04 pace
