Am Hill Run

Weather: 33 degrees; light breeze; clear skies

Comments:
6am; In Oneonta, out East St, up Bugbee hill, over SUNY-O, down Ravine Pkwy and West St to Chestnut, to Church, to Walnut, up Elm to Normal Ave, end at top of Maple St.

Two hills on this run. The first 1.3 miles gains 300+ feet (10:44 split; 8:15 pace) and the last quarter mile is a .2 mi, 70-foot gain, followed by a one-block flat. Tried to take it easy on the long downhill. Soreness, but no striking pain, in L hip/ass.

With 6 weeks before Mt. Washington, I'm in great need of more hill runs. Expect to see more of this loop or variants.
