Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
alex stern paced me and boardman, and we came in less than a second apart (him 4:39 high). nice splits, something like 69 / 70 / 73 / 68. i'm happy with the time but i know i couldve done better in a real race. then paced emma for her mile and ran a 100m dash with distance guys (ha).
i remember telling anthony i wanted to run the mile and 2 mile at the beginning of winter. but now i like the 800 almost as much as i like the mile. and im really not a fan of the 2 mile. so next year, i want to get more speed in. and definitely some lifting, my arms are jelly at the end of every race. ill try to respond better to injuries (ie, not lose hope and stop doing any exercise, like i kind of did with the sciatica) and do my best to avoid them. i was noticing today how crappy/awkward/unnatural it felt switching from jogging around barefoot to pacing emma in my trainers. maybe ill transition to minimalist this summer. for now, a month off...
