Needed a good "marathoner" workout...long run didn't seem like good option, tempo stuff didn't seem like good option, and it seemed like whatever run I would do would wear my legs out since that's what running in WV does to me so why not completely wear them out...
1, W-U, 4 x 1.2 miles up Capital Punishment Hill & 4 x 1.2 miles down it, 1 CD
Legs stayed pretty strong and never burned like during Distance Classic.
Last 1.2 up the hill, alternated fast and regular based on light poles. Legs were obviously trashed during cool down mile but not worst ever trashed.
Lower back is sore from yesterday's workout, didn't bother me during run, but annoying when I twist or turn. Arms are sore too.
