terrain- pretty flat
surface- mostly canal, road

hydration- 10/10 :)

workout- 9/10. i was going to run in the morning, but i decided to spend the day making sure i was hydrated, and once i got out of work i did my run. it was certainly hotter than if i had run in the morning, but the abundant water in my system helped immensely. felt pretty great and faster in general, despite the heat. I would say that most of the run was more of a fast medium, and the hot was slightly faster but not by too much. Was beginning to feel tired near the end, and when i finished i felt kind of exhausted, but in a good way. Oh, and at the very beginning my Achilles tendons felt kind of strained, i suspect it was one of the steep hills i happened to ascend the day before. went away pretty quickly though, and they didn't bother me on the hill at the end of today's run.

oh, and the reason for the title is because Superman "absorbs" the energy of the sun, and that's kind of how i felt today, since i was so hydrated. yeeeah.
