Comments:
I volunteered to help out a master student who also happens to be the assistant coach of the unc team on his thesis. He wants to see if increasing the the incline on a treadmill or increase the speed provided the highest VO2 max measurement. The first trial today was increasing the incline. He kept the speed constant at 8 and increased the incline every minute. I managed to make it to 18% grade and have a VO2 max of 75 ml/kg/min with a max heart rate of 179. Tomorrow will be the speed day, so we will see if I can do better. 3 mile cooldown afterwards.
