mental train wreck

Weather: hot and humid

Comments:
to the rope swing and back with cale and carlton. for the first day back, it wasn't to bad. my knees hurt like no other and form was weird... i think i forgot how to run. my mental state however is a wreck. i don't see how i can come back from this. my base is going to suck no matter what i do. i'm going to have to go through pain and misery for the rest of the summer because i won't adapt. and because i won't be getting in high miles i feel weaker, and when it comes to workouts i'm not going to be prepared like the rest of you. i'm a little scared i won't make varsity. and if i do i feel like i won't contribute. i was really hoping to be up there but i guess i'm gonna have to settle for less this year. i really did myself in. oh well, i'll have to suck it up and deal with it
