lost watch

i don't know what happened to it. sometime between running on sunday and putting my shoes in a bag on monday, my watch disappeared. i didn't notice until this afternoon. anyways, i was shooting to run 10 miles, and this felt about 6:45 pace, so i logged it as such. luckily i ran with john, who had a watch, but we didn't start together, so i was really unsure of everything. we ran at emory, talked the whole time-- about the summer, getting ready for college, running, and other stuff. it was really hot out, but not terrible in the shade. the whole "not having a watch" thing is a little worrying, especially since i do most of my runs for time. i'm hoping that it turns up sometime soon.

i realized, after going through old logs, that my first 60-mile week was not actually last week. i had a seven-day total of 63.1 in january, when i moved my cross training day from sunday to thursday, after which i promptly became injured. after today's run, however, my highest 7-day total is 64. i feel healthy, strong, and optimistic.
