Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
First tempo of the year. Jess wrapped my ankle so it felt pretty good the whole time, though by the end of this I was starting to feel those pains come back on take-off of each step. I think just because it's weak. She gave me strengthening exercises to do on my own, plus I'm going to go down there twice a week to work on stuff with her. Tempo was pretty good. We were supposed to do 4 miles at 7:00-7:10. We took it out fast, then slowed it down for a slower first mile, 7:08, then I'm pretty sure we got progressively faster. I finished in 28 min flat, so perfectly on pace, but I was a little disappointed that I dropped off the pack with about a mile to go. I haven't done anything at the faster end for a while, so this was good. Don't know if I'm running or not tomorrow...maybe some cross training.
