Fresh legs after the long weekend today, so I decided to do the tempo with the team. Thanks everyone for letting me run with you. 7 mile tempo, which would be the first 7 mile tempo of my life. Felt solid through the first half...really didn't feel it until the final couple miles. Overshot the halfway point, had to work some to catch Dixon. Happy with the effort, although I think it may have been too hard.
HR 156-160 about 1 minute after tempo. Probably the best tempo I've ever had although I think I could have done better doing this workout last track season.

3 x 300 at the track afterward, felt really strong for those.

Rough cool down back to my apartment. Afterward I felt like death.
