mile repeats

Comments:
Mile repeats on Fairhill. Normally CoachL likes me to go with the early group, but she wanted me to go at the regular time today so I could stick with the group I race with. Coach suggested leg hangs after clinicals, which I did, as well as a 20 minute nap, which turned into an hour+ nap. We just missed the rain when we got there, but it was still pretty humid. Warmup 1.5, drills. Started the first one in a big pack, which Coach placed us each in a very specific spot. She put me right in the middle so I wouldn't drop off. The next three we did smaller groups. Shout out to Brooke for being a team player and running back with us in the second group to keep us together and keep us moving. Stuck with her for the second, then a few seconds off on the third and fourth, but never too far off. 6:20, 6:14?, 6:26, 6:30-6:35. Didn't get a time on that last one, but I was a little off Brooke, so Coach Barnes guesstimated. Cooldown, lift, eagle, hips, stretch, roll, ice bath. Long run tomorrow.
