Comments:
2x3mi tempo on mlk. warmup 2mi to mlk. our splits were inconsistent, but stayed under 5:30 for almost all of them, i think. 16:25 on the way out, 3min recovery jog, started the next one. coach added some new guys to our tempo group this week--peter's back, and hopefully corey's here to stay. started out on the way back with a 5:22; the next two were a little slower, but finished with a 16:21. definitely better than last week's 2x3. great weather-- just beautiful. over to nrv for 6x200 w/200 recovery btwn. only timed a few, but ran :30-32 for all. it felt good to get my legs moving, and even though they felt tired, i was fast. finished the cool down back to veale.
week 3 day 2 lift-- increased most weights- felt good. glad we could stretch by the track upstairs. static3, ibisx40, hipsx15, first veale icebath in a while.
