so I've been very scared the last few days, scared that I'd finally gotten tired, legs-wise, that I'd finally really maxed out. that I would be able to keep practicing like I have been. but it turns out that was just monday. had a bad day, and didn't even have an awful workout, just not a great one. I felt very back on track today :) (NOT A PUN) Held the pace well for the first 3 miles then took off faster than I meant to on the last one. thankfully, natalia went with me. she kept me from dying and we held onto the pace for the last mile. I've been racing at about 5:55-6:00 pace; hitting a 6:02 mile after three fast miles and not being that tired after makes me really think that it's time to bring down my race pace. it's time to go now.
