progressive long run

started with a big group of guys for our long run from veale. went up to the xcfh to get cwade's shoes. i was in a good mood-- it was really nice out, and a good day in general. we weren't going too fast (7-7:20), but with the size of our group, we ended up splitting a bit. after we crossed lee, and were running by beaumont, i was running with chrisk, wyatt, and mitchell, and we decided that we'd go our own pace, which was a little faster than what everyone else was running (a little under 7). from there we just kept getting faster. we went out shelburne to green, then turned right on green and came back shaker to south park. the surface was actually great-- large grass space and not too many trees. partly because it was downhill, and partly because we wanted to continue this trend of gradual acceleration, we continued to speed up on the way back to campus (easily sub 6:30, felt similar to yesterday's run). got back to campus around 1hr12, then added on a few barefoot laps around the field. went in for the new lift-- it wasn't too difficult, but i got something out of it. static 1(with new stretches), ibisx40, hipsx20, icebath.
