First Run Back

Weather: Flurries

Got cleared to run this morning so first run back. I knew this would hurt, and it did. I'm sore in places that I haven't used in while. My shoulders and the outside of my quads were really sore. It was cold and windy outside too, which made the run harder.

Still it was awesome! I'm so happy to be back. I've never been so happy to be sore!

Overall I'm not in that bad of shape, but I'm not ready to jump to crazy mileage either. I expected this. Plan is to slowly increase mileage just like I did every summer before an xc season. Just need to be smart and stay injury free.
