Comments:
Cold, long run with Arnel with8 miles marathon pace. 6:30am start at about 30-40 degrees! About 11 miles easy at 8+ minute paces, mile 12 at 7:21 as the pace picked up. 1.5 water bottles used, 2 gels taken. MP splits: 6:53, 6:43, 6:46, 6:48, 6:45, 6:43, 6:43, 6:28. Consumed carbs and protein within 5 minutes of finishing and feel recovered as I journal this. Running with a partner makes a huge difference, makes tough workouts much more enjoyable.
