Spike up bitch

Comments:
Mid 50s for weather, so I grabbed the spikes and hit the track...wanted to do a 400 800 1600 800 400 workout, but I only got through the 1600 before I had some tightness in my lower calf. Figured my legs had enough of running hard in spikes and I'd quit while I was ahead. There was still snow on the track at the end of the 2nd turn, didn't hinder me much but it may have slowed things down a little. I was thinking of racing in a few weeks, and all things considered, I don't think my legs/feet are ready to handle any hard track races quite yet.
