Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
this workout walked a fine line between tempo and interval pace. the workouts read 2-5 by tempo mile, and coach wanted me to do 2, which was weird. i ran with chris, and led the first one a little fast. chris led the second one, and we settled in a bit better.
2x 1600 (5:06, 5:12) with 1min rest btwn
then 4x 400 with 30,20, then 10s rest btwn. coach said to go 73s, but i ran 69, 72, 71, 66
i felt comfortable the whole time, during the miles and the quarters. i could've run faster on the quarters, but kept it under control. jogged barefoot for a while on the field, then did the circuit of 3x(20 decline pushups/20dips/10ea 1-leg sand jumps). did the weighted arm run things when we got back to veale. ran some more on the field, then back to veale.
