Exercise Type: Run

Weather: About 70 degrees, headwind of appx. 11MPH

Comments:
Ran my longest run since I started getting back into shape. Three and a half miles. Ran from Old Town to home. Rosecrans, up sports arena to west point loma blvd. to Cable street, end at corner of cable street and Narragansett. Was tired, sore, strong headwind most of the run and got pretty dehydrated during the run. Knee hurt but near the end of the run it felt a lot better.

Because of my knee still hurting I did not bother to get my splits for each mile. I also had to stop at a few lights, two of which seemed to be at forever, long enough to pretty much catch my breath and breath normally again. Those stopped times are not included in my time below, I stopped the time as I reached the light and started it again once I started to run across the street.

I figured before the run I would run about 28 mninutes so a bit slower then I guessed but overall fairly happy with it considering the knee pain and the headwind which I have not had to deal with as of yet since most my runs are at night when the wind is usually not as strong and on narrower streets with apartments/houses on each side whereas on rosecrans, sports arena, the roads are a lot wider making it easier for the wind to pass through.
