Time to get back on track, no more dicking around. Gotta train like I did after basic last year but instead of August-November it'll be September-February. Going to go for a sub 4:40 mile, 16:30 5k and w/e else happens, happens. Anyway, on to the run

got a 2 mile split going 7:51 pace, felt pretty tired, loosened up as I went and hit upper 7:20 something then slowed down to settle out most of the run at mid to upper 7:30s. All in all a pretty solid run, did nearly 10 mins of stretching afterwords, need to make that more of a habit.

My bike lock came in today and it got me thinking about how I was good in middle school and biked to school, did okay without biking in highschool and now I'm about to start biking to college. Time to get back to that middle school joy and talent for the indoor season.
