Comments:
I felt that I ran a smart first mile and did fine on the switchbacks hill, though I was very tired on the downhill and didn't use it as advantageously as normal. On poopout, I passed a lot because of the short quick steps that Coach Ridgeway reminded me of. I felt that my second mile was good, but I really need to force myself to run faster then and trust that the third mile will be there when I need it. Overall, it was a smart race, but I think a stronger second mile is going to improve my time dramatically.
