Real goddamn mediocre. I thought I was fitter than this. I've been stuck at basically the same place fitness-wise for the past 2 years and I thought this would be the season I broke out of it, but it doesn't look like that's gonna be the case. If I was ready to break 14:30 then 5:20 pace would feel a lot easier than it did. Splits were 5:19, 5:07, 5:38, 5:20. The wind was pretty ridiculous. I did the run as a 2 mile out and back, so I had a nice tailwind on the 2nd mile and then a brutal headwind on the 3rd mile, hence the crazy inconsistent times.
