The Dreaded Day

Ran for 30min, cuz my shins hurt like hell. coming down that hill towards cedar at the end of the run i was like god have mercy on the shins. biked another 30min in the cardio room.

had about 2 hours of sleep last night. 1.5 scoops of NO-Xplode kept me up til 5am. developed a tolerance to diphenyhydramine way too quickly so 3 pills (75mg) didnt do shit. picked up some melatonin and valerian root from CVS. never having a sleepless night again.

today was probably the first legit leg workout, with proper volume and duration, and in a descriptive sense, intensity.
5x10 w/ 125lb squat. the first set was accidentally 115lbs. tendons around the hamstring started to feel it.
deadlifts. oh my fking god. 155lb first 2 sets, 165 next 2, then 175lbs. 10 reps per set. two weeks ago i was seeing stars w/ 135-155. this week showed a good progression. but goddamn. the deadlift is the one exercise that brings me to my knees like a little bitch.
Front squats. tough as shit. did this to add volume targeting the quads. 5x10 w/ first 95, then 85 the rest of the 4 sets. 95 proved to be just a bit too heavy. got better at the grip. and put my heels on 25lb yellow plates.
hamstrings, first 2 sets had 70lbs on, next two was 80lbs. felt it really good in the hammies. theyre probably gonna wake me up with a cramp in like 3 hours from now.
Leg press- high volume low rest. 5x12 w/ 45s each side. burnnnnn.
now i understand why people hate leg day. fuck.
