Comments:
Good race. And a PR! First time under 16:10. Went out with the #1 runner from Mt. Vernon Nazarene. Hit about 5-flat at the mile. From there, the chase pack passed us with about a mile to go. I hung tough with them for a bit but then I dropped back, which prevented me from breaking 16. The last guy in that group just got under. Next time I just need to stick with that group. Overall happy with the race, but need to just be a little tougher with 1200m left to go. I know I am ready to break through. A taper should help me out in that regard.
