Leg Day with Adonis of Olympus Iron

Fuck. i typed this shit up, then running log didnt work. then lost all of it. fuck. gotta retype it.

No preworkout today to test out my energy levels and to save it for delts on friday since i been kidna slacking on that.

Squats. i didnt go in with planned set/rep parameters. the goal was to take a step back from heavy weight and fix the form which is important cuz i dont wanna go to Snap City and also bad form w/ heavy weight is extremely unpleasant on the squat. starting w/ 135, did 5 reps and go up by 10lbs every 2 minutes. found my threshold for nervous system freaking out at approx 185 lbs. did 2x5 at 185. the only thing bothering me was my right adductor. lower back was completely fine even without a belt which is a good sign my forms getting better. backed off to 175 for 8, then 135 for like 17 or something i was just feeling the form. form was better, going ass to the grass

hack squats didnt feel that great this time. possibly b/c of the adductor. 3x10 w/ 65lbs each side. hard to respect the full range of motion too cuz i was having trouble getting out of the hole on the bottom of the movement. jesus fucking christ i got up from the machine and just saw stars. My hearing started to fade too from the lack of blood or whatever i could barely hear my ipod. its a great feeling though i strive to achieve that every week (srs).

leg press. hit 4x12 on that with 155lbs each side, then stripped 90lbs on the last set for a dropset. smaller range of motion to protect the lower back and isolate the quads.

Closed in for the kill on the leg extensions. did 3x12 with 70lbs, then 2x10 w/ 80 and turned the 5th set into a NOS at 80-60-50-40-30. stumbled my way down the stairs.

you know youve worked hard when the back of your shirt is completely drenched in sweat. and the room is very well air conditioned.

Gotta watch out for that right adductor. its still kind of feeling strained from squatting last week. it kind of affected me on the squats/hack squats and deadlift. that was like the only thing bother me on the squat. just stay in Muscleville and don't go to Snap City
